Fabio Aguzzi paints as he breathes. Canvases and brushes, cigars and whiskey share his lonely days and nights, silent companions of a chromatic ode he composes endlessly for his one love, his eternal muse: light.
"When Fabio Aguzzi paints, he binds himself to a theme that he interprets as a challenge. Toys as childhood memories, baskets filled with fruit and flowers, chairs, cigars, brooms and brushes as women's hair, everyday objects, cups, everything is matter to work with for this "serial painter," since it is the light that counts first. "The idea is grasped from a color, a smell, the expression of someone in the street" for he who recognizes as his masters the painters of light, Flemish and Tuscan."
