Overview

The exhibition Omaggio a Venezia – 1600, organized by the Galleria d’Arte Contini, was conceived as a tribute to the enduring spirit of Venezia and as an invitation to rediscover its artistic soul. Bringing together works by Virgilio Guidi, Zoran Music, Carlo Carrà, Igor Mitoraj, Enzo Fiore, Fabio Aguzzi and Andrea Valleri, the exhibition unfolds as a refined dialogue between memory and contemporary vision.

Through paintings, sculptures and mixed-media works, the artists offer deeply personal interpretations of the lagoon, the sacred architectures, and the historic silhouettes that define the city’s identity. Each work becomes both homage and revelation, guiding visitors along a poetic journey that celebrates the timeless charm, luminous atmosphere, and cultural legacy of this extraordinary city.
