Alpemare: Seven Summers of Art, 2020-2026: Igor Mitoraj, Park Eun Sun, Pablo Atuchugarry, Manolo Valdés, Mario Arlati, Lorenzo Quinn, Forte dei Marmi (LU)
The Contini Art Gallery is pleased to celebrate, at Bagno Alpemare, a collaboration that for seven years has represented a key cultural appointment in the Versilia landscape. Established in 2020 with an inaugural exhibition dedicated to Igor Mitoraj, this dialogue between contemporary art and the natural environment has steadily developed into a distinguished and consistent exhibition program.
In 2021, the works of Park Eun Sun marked the beginning of a new phase of formal exploration, followed in 2022 by the sculptures of Pablo Atchugarry, whose creations established a harmonious relationship with the surrounding landscape. In 2023, Manolo Valdés took center stage, while in 2024 Mario Arlati further enriched the artistic identity of the venue. In 2025, the collaboration continued with Lorenzo Quinn, reaffirming a commitment to offering a renewed and engaging experience each year.
This journey reaches its culmination in 2026 with a group exhibition bringing together some of the most significant artists featured throughout this collaboration: Igor Mitoraj, Manolo Valdés, Pablo Atchugarry, Park Eun Sun and Mario Arlati. The exhibition presents itself as an ideal synthesis of a cultural project that, over time, has fostered an ongoing dialogue between art, landscape, and hospitality, contributing to the development of a shared and recognizable identity for Bagno Alpemare.
This initiative stands as a testament to how the synergy between the Contini Art Gallery and the Bocelli family has created a unique setting, where the beauty of the landscape intertwines with contemporary artistic expression, offering new perspectives and inspiration each year.
