Giacomo Braglia: Conversation with a changing world, Lugano

15 October 2020 - 31 January 2021
Overview
In this exhibition, photography merges with sculpture to offer a representation of a world in constant transformation.

'Conversations with a Changing World' is an exhibition curated by Beatrice Audrito that hosted the works of Swiss artist and photographer Giacomo 'Jack' Braglia in the city of Lugano from 15 October 2020 to 31 January 2021.

This exhibition features six sculptures and outdoor installations immersed in the beauty of Ciani Park, where Braglia has chosen to engage in a dialogue with a changing world, paying particular attention to environmental issues.

The aim of this exhibition is to stimulate in-depth reflection on issues of extreme relevance today, such as marine pollution, exploitation of natural resources and climate change. These are themes to which the artist has dedicated his career, narrating the contradictions of our time through his extraordinary photographic shots. These photographic works were then transformed into sculptures, using the technique of "wrapping."
